Health Guarantee & Terms of Sale

I. Breeder Commitment: Health & Screening
We are committed to the highest standards of genetic screening, which is why we utilize comprehensive Embark DNA Health Testing on all breeding parents to screen for over 250 genetic conditions. We only strive to breed dogs certified as Clear for known genetic risks to minimize the chance of these issues appearing in the litter.

  • Veterinary Care: Every puppy receives a thorough vet check, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming before transfer.

  • Documentation: A copy of the relevant parent Embark reports is provided in the Puppy Profile Packet.

II. Initial 72-Hour Health Check (Buyer Obligation)
The buyer is required to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.

  • If Deemed Unfit: If the puppy is found to be unfit for sale, the buyer must submit vet documentation and return the puppy for a full refund or replacement.

  • Voidance: The entire Health Guarantee is immediately null and void if the buyer fails to provide proof of this mandated 72-hour Initial Vet Check.

III. Genetic Health Guarantee (12 Months)
This warranty covers major congenital or hereditary life-altering/life-threatening issues diagnosed within 12 months of the Puppy's Date of Birth.

  • Warranted Commitment: This guarantee is a warranty of the parents’ tested genetic health and the breeder’s commitment to responsible screening.

  • Limitation: It does not warrant or guarantee that the Puppy is free of any genetic disorder, as environmental factors, epigenetics, and unknown mutations can occur.

  • Remedy: If a covered defect is confirmed by two licensed veterinarians , the Breeder will provide a replacement within 18 months or refund the purchase price. (Refund will be processed only after a 7-day health quarantine and veterinary evaluation ).

IV. Important Exclusions (What is Not Covered)
The guarantee does not cover:

  • Umbilical hernias, minor bite misalignments, mild murmurs, undescended testicles, or inverted vulva.

  • Any correctable conditions or issues not affecting the quality of life.

  • Issues arising from injury, neglect, or improper care.

  • Common Conditions: Deworming treatment is covered for parasites found during the 72-hour check, but all other parasite/common issues are the buyer's responsibility.

V. Contractual Terms & Pet-Only Agreement

  • Spay/Neuter: The puppy is sold as a pet only and must be spayed or neutered by 12 months of age. Proof must be submitted within 14 days post-procedure. Breeding is prohibited.

  • Rehoming: The dog must never be surrendered to a shelter or rescue. The breeder must be contacted immediately if the buyer can no longer care for the dog.

  • 24-Hour Return: If the buyer changes their mind within 24 hours of pickup, a refund of the full purchase price minus the holding fee will be issued after a 7-day quarantine.
