Phase 1: Neonatal & Early Development (0–3 Weeks)

Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS):
​Gentle handling, light thermal exposure, and positional changes performed daily (Days 3–16).Scientifically proven to improve cardiovascular performance, stress tolerance, and disease resistance later in life.
Early Scent Introduction (ESI):
Introducing a new scent daily (e.g., specific herbs, fruits, fabrics).Heightens and utilizes the puppy’s sense of smell, potentially leading to increased confidence and a calmer demeanor in new environments.
Constant Human Contact:
​Gentle, frequent handling by adults to establish early trust and comfort with being touched.Fosters a strong human bond from day one and helps the puppies become comfortable with veterinarian handling.

Phase 2: Family Integration & Desensitization (3–8 Weeks)

The Helping Hands of Childhood:
Our children (list ages/or simply "young family members") are actively involved in daily feeding, supervised playtime, and cuddling.
Crucial Differentiator:
Puppies are pre-exposed to the sights, sounds, and movements of children, resulting in a puppy that is less prone to fear and anxiety when moving into a family with kids.
Environmental Exposure:
Daily exposure to normal household sights and sounds: vacuums, dropped pots, different floor textures (wood, tile, carpet), music, and television.Desensitizes the puppy to common household stressors, creating a confident temperament that isn't startled by normal family life.
Litter Box & Potty Foundations:
We introduce a designated potty area (litter box w/ horse pellets) within the whelping area to establish early preference for eliminating away from their sleeping space.Speeds up house-training success in their new home by leveraging their natural instinct for cleanliness.
Crate & Barrier Introduction:
Individual puppies are briefly introduced to a safe, comfortable crate during feeding times or naps.Introduces the crate as a positive, safe den, paving the way for easier crate training and successful travel later on.
